Terms of Service

Last updated: October 23, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Let’s Get Together LTD (“oh hi”, “we”, “us”), a New York company at 178 Clinton St, 2F, Brooklyn, NY 11201, United States. They cover the oh hi app, the website at ohhi.dating, the Love Line, our events, and anything else that links to them (the “Service”).

By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms, to our Privacy Policy at ohhi.dating/privacy, and to the House Rules at ohhi.dating/house-rules. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who can use oh hi

  • You are at least 21 years old.
  • You live in New York City or you are moving here.
  • You give true information about yourself and keep it current.
  • You have one account, and it is yours alone.
  • We have not removed you before.
  • You are not barred from using a dating service by law.

We can refuse, suspend, or close an account at any time if these are not true, if you break the House Rules, or if we need to protect other members.

2. What oh hi is

oh hi suggests matches from your quiz answers, runs a personals board where a person reads every ad before it runs, hosts events, and makes human setups for members who apply. Members are shown by name, age, neighborhood, and avatar, never by photo.

We do our best, but we cannot promise you a match, a date, or a relationship. Some weeks there is no eligible match. We are not a therapist, a counselor, or a background check service. Be careful, meet in public, and tell someone where you are going.

3. House Rules and conduct

The House Rules at ohhi.dating/house-rules are part of these terms. In short: be honest about who you are, be kind, and take no for an answer. You also agree not to:

  • Harass, threaten, stalk, or abuse anyone, on or off the Service.
  • Pretend to be someone else, or create an account for someone else.
  • Ask members for money, sell anything, or advertise.
  • Post content that is illegal, sexual, violent, or hateful, or that involves a minor in any way.
  • Share another member’s information or messages outside the Service without their consent.
  • Scrape, copy, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Service, or use bots or scripts on it.
  • File false reports.

If we remove you, you may not come back under another name. Safety reports about you stay on file so we can recognize a returning account.

4. The Love Line

The Love Line at 929-389-3535 is a text message line answered by people. No AI and no chatbots write the replies. You start the conversation by texting us, and we reply by text. Standard carrier message and data rates apply. Text STOP at any time to end it.

Operators give opinions, not professional advice. The Love Line is not therapy, medical care, or legal advice, and it is not for emergencies. If you are in danger, call 911. If you are in crisis, call or text 988.

5. Payments and subscriptions

Paid plans are sold through the App Store and Google Play. The store shows the price, the billing period, and any free period or free first match before you confirm. The store charges your payment method and renews the plan automatically until you cancel.

Cancel at any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a store subscription.

Refunds for store purchases are handled by the store under its rules, except as the next section says for New York members. If we change a price, the store tells you first and asks you to agree.

6. New York members: Dating Service Consumer Bill of Rights

New York law gives members of a dating service these rights. This section is your written notice of them, and it wins over anything else in these terms.

  • You may cancel a paid plan without a fee within 3 business days after you receive these terms, by emailing support@ohhi.dating or writing to the address below. We refund everything you paid within 10 business days of receiving your notice.
  • No plan costs more than $1,000 and no plan runs longer than one year at a time.
  • You may put your membership on hold for up to one year by emailing us. We do not charge you while it is on hold.
  • If you move permanently outside New York City, email us. We cancel your plan and refund the unused part.
  • If your plan promises matches and we do not deliver them, you may cancel and we refund the unused part of your term.
  • If we ban a member for suspected fraud, we tell every member who exchanged messages with them within three days, with a reminder never to send money or financial details to another member.
  • You have the right to bring a court action against us if we break this agreement.

If a complaint is not resolved, you can also contact the New York State Division of Consumer Protection at dos.ny.gov/consumer-protection or (800) 697-1220.

7. Your content

Your profile, answers, ads, posts, and messages are yours. So that we can run the Service you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, copy, show, and deliver that content inside the Service, to the members and operators you chose to share it with, for as long as it is on the Service.

We do not sell your content, use it in advertising, or use it to train AI models. We do not show your ad after you take it down. The license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in safety reports and in short-lived backups.

You are responsible for what you post. Post only what you have the right to post, and nothing that breaks section 3. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

8. Our content and the app

The Service, its design, software, text, and marks belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, revocable, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, sell, or reverse engineer it.

The app is distributed by Apple and Google, who are not parties to these terms and have no obligation to support or maintain it. If the app fails to meet a warranty, you may tell the store and it may refund the price. Apple and Google may enforce these terms as third-party beneficiaries. You confirm you are not in a country under a U.S. embargo and not on a U.S. government list of prohibited parties.

9. Ending the agreement

You can end this agreement at any time by deleting your account in the app. We can suspend or close your account if you break these terms or the House Rules, if the law requires it, or to protect other members. We tell you why unless the law or someone’s safety stops us. Sections 6, 7, and 10 to 14 survive the end of the agreement.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about it, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any member is who they say they are. We do not screen members for criminal history. You are responsible for your interactions with other members, online and in person.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from the Service or from your dealings with other members. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $100, whichever is greater. Some laws do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing here limits the rights in section 6.

12. Indemnification

If someone makes a claim against us because of your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs, including legal fees, to the extent the law allows.

13. Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

Before starting a formal dispute, email support@ohhi.dating with your name, the problem, and what you want. We will try to work it out with you for 30 days.

If we cannot, the dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration under the Consumer Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association, held in New York City or by video, with a single arbitrator. The arbitrator decides individual claims only; there are no class or representative arbitrations. Either side may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court in Kings County, New York. Courts in Kings County, New York have jurisdiction over anything a court must decide.

You can opt out of arbitration by emailing support@ohhi.dating within 30 days of creating your account, with your name and the words “opt out of arbitration”. Nothing in this section takes away rights that New York consumer law gives you, including those in section 6.

14. General

These terms, the Privacy Policy, and the House Rules are the whole agreement between you and us. If part of them cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term once, we can still enforce it later. You may not transfer this agreement. We may transfer it to a successor who takes on our obligations. Notices to you go to the email on your account.

15. Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we update the date at the top. If a change reduces your rights or adds obligations, we tell you in the app or by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. Using the Service after that date means you accept the change.
