Our commitment

oh hi is a dating service for adults in New York City. Let’s Get Together LTD has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). We do not allow minors on the service, and we remove and report anyone who sexualizes, solicits, or endangers a child.

Who can join

  • Members must be 21 or older. We ask for a birthdate at signup and the server refuses accounts under 21.
  • Members agree to the Terms of Service and the House Rules, which require them to be honest about their age.
  • If we learn that a member is under 21, we close the account and delete its data.
  • Members are never shown by photo, which removes the most common way minors are targeted on dating apps.

Prohibited content and behavior

  • Any sexual or suggestive content involving a minor.
  • Grooming, solicitation, or any contact with a minor.
  • Sharing, requesting, or linking to child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
  • Arranging to meet a minor.
  • Expressing sexual interest in minors.

How we find it

oh hi is run by a small team, and people, not automated filters, do this work. A person reads every personals ad before it runs. A person reviews every report. We do not currently run automated image or message scanning. If that changes, we will say so here.

How to report

  • In the app: use Report on any member profile, chat, or ad. Reports are free and the reported member is not told who reported them.
  • By text: the Love Line at 929-389-3535.
  • By email: support@ohhi.dating. Put “child safety” in the subject line.
  • If a child is in immediate danger, call 911. You can also report to the NCMEC CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org.

What happens next

  • A member of the oh hi team reviews every report. Child safety reports go first.
  • We keep a snapshot of the report and the conversation it concerns, even after the account is deleted, so removed people stay removed.
  • We remove the account and block the person from returning.
  • When we become aware of apparent CSAM, we report it to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children as 18 U.S.C. § 2258A requires, and we preserve the evidence as that law requires.
  • We cooperate with law enforcement requests.
